Bophut Beach itself is large in area and is sometimes difficult to actually separate from Big Buddha and Maenam beaches. The beach in this area is very unspoilt and has far less bars and entertainment built up on the beachfront. There are plenty of stretches of this beach that transport you back in time to when the island was untouched by tourism.
